Originally posted by Midnight Sun Alright, we've all seen the rumors of the updated P900 codenamed "Layla". I dont know if I am the only one but I will definitely NOT spend another $800 for a device that is that much similar to my current P900 just to get a little keyboard. It appears to me that Layla will be the exact same shape and design as the P900... So why doesn't Sony Ericsson just release this new flip to add to our existing P900's? I'm sure a firmware upgrade could easily make it compatible (if in fact "Layla" is the exact same hardware configuration as our current P900) Either that or a piece of software could easily make it useable. Anyone else support this idea? |

Originally posted by contaygious Y? because its fake! it would be too difficult to use a keyboard on a flip because u cant even reach it with ur fingers without tearing the whole thing off. trust me it's not going to be like that and if it is, its not going to be upgradable for the p900 just like the p900 features were not added to p800 ie new OS etc. o and i think the keyboard is neccessary because my hand gets tired writting all the time on my p800 and if its dark its a lot easier to see the keypad and just type with ur fingers.. face it stylus is great for the internet but QWERTY is GREAT for messaging. |
