Can a BB7280 be set up to automatically change the time zone to the one I am in while travelling? I tried setting it to "use network time" but this did not result in a change.

I didn't think so ... where is the "use network time" setting?

I have a "copy network time" which uses UTC and will set the correct time, but not the timezone, and then I have to manually set the "Timezone".

Does anyone know how to prevent the BlackBerry 7290 from shifting the start times of calendar items (appointments) after the timezone has been changed? For example, when I change the timezone from Pacific to Eastern, all appointments get shifted by three hours. I do NOT want this feature! I know that some people love this feature. I hate it.

I had the same problem when I forgot to change my time zone and set the time the last time I migrated back to the 7520. I had to go in and change every appoint ment including the recurring ones. Paint in the butt!
