Can anyone help me. The built-in browser in the P900 keeps crashing everytime I got visit any site.

At first it tries to make a GPRS connection. After the connection is established I get the following error to occur.

Program Closed
Program Main
Reason Code KERN-EXEC
Reason Number 3

After I hit the continue button I get "Unknown Error".

Has anyone seen this problem before?

If anyone can provide any help that will great.

Thanks...

Use the Opera browser. It's in the application CD that came with your phone.

If not, download the latest version of Opera for P900 HERE for free. Registration codes are not needed because the price of the P900 includes the full version of the Opera browser as well. You're not paying US$700+ just for the phone, you're paying for a couple of apps as well.

Thanks for the info, I was planning on installing the Opera browser but I still wanted to find out if anyone had any idea why this would happen.

I just finished updating my phone with the latest firmware and everything worked great, even the browser. But as soon as I did a restore the problem came back. Very strange. It's like there is some config mis-match on the phone.

I guess this is also causing my EZiTap software to crash as well. For some reason, everytime I run EZiTap keyboard the whole phone freeze's and then it reboots.

I must say for a $800 phone this is pretty crapy product. I just don't understand why SE would try to re-invent the wheel. They should've learned how to create a product that actually works from people at Palm. Anyway, I'm jst venting at the fact that I spent $800 and now I've wasted way too many hours trying to get this stuff to work.

Thanks for any info that anyone can provide to get this ×××× phone working again.

I have the exact same problem on my P800. Now I just want to uninstall it.

Which problem do you have? The browser crashing or EZiTap crashing?

I think I'm ready to just back up my contacts & date book and just do a reset to factory setting. Then re-install everthing. But that would suck since I would have to re-install all my apps.

too many apps running at the same time... try an app like sman to close unused apps and free up some memory -- opera's a memory hog

OK so I talked to SE tech support today and they informed to either upgrade firmware (which I've already done) or send in the phone to have the phone flashed. I told them that either of the two solution is not acceptable since I can not affoard to whipe out my contacts list.

I would sync the phone but I don't have Outlook nor do I have Lotus Notes in my PC.

So what do I do? Is there a way to backup just the Calendar and Contacts data? If there is maybe I can do that and upgrade the phone and bring the system back to factory default setttings. Afterwhich I can import the Calendar and Contacts info back into the phone and re-install everything.

Please help!!!
