New firmware screwed up my P900

I updated the firmware on my P900 yesterday from the Sony Ericsson site. The new version is R4B03 - I had R3 something before. Everything with the update appeared to go smoothly. However I have since noticed some problems. Firstly, the virtual keyboard doesnt work anymore. I click the keyboard in the taskbar and nothing happens. When I go to Control Panel and hit Text Input, again nothing happens. Secondly, the jog dial down doesnt work anymore, it used to be like an 'esc' key but it doesn't do that anymore. In fact all it seems to is prompt you to push in again to unlock the keylock. Anyone got any suggestions as to what I should do. I really wish I hadnt done the update now.

Sounds like it may have corrupted. Try another install then if all else fails, contact your local SE service center.

OK sounds plausible, I'll try again tomorrow in the office which is where I have the syncstation. I have also noticed the blurry thumbnails which after searching here I find others have commented on as a "feature" and not a bug. Some feature! They dont mention that in the release notes. Actually bothers me quite a bit, and it seems to be worst with the files that I use the Sony Ericsson Image Editor to convert pictures for the P900.

Good luck! Well the blurry thumb pics are there to save resources and speed up display. Not really an issue. Still the CPU/s ain't quite there for speedy browsing of pics although maybe it's down to bus speed and slow flash memory.

I do hope it's successor will solve the issues as it's annoying trying to read text with such a poor refresh. For some reason the browser is quicker than the viewer?

I wish there was a overclock program for p900 as there is for a ppc os for xda2, wish p900 had one too and i'd boot it to 200mhz even though batery woud run out alittle faster
