If I wanted to change the housing on my brother's SE47, how would I get the antenna out so i could change it with the rest of the housing??

Thanks in advance!!

you need the antenna changing tool. to my knowledge(which isn't much ) you can only buy this if you buy a replacment antenna for the slider.... here

You can use a large flat-head screwdriver you unscrew it too. Just be careful cause it bends the antenna a lil to make room for the screwdriver.

It worked for me and some other people on the boards.

Where does the screw driver have to go in the antenna area to remove it?? Is this easy to do...or is it worth it to just get the new antenna and the tool??

Thanks!

Lift up the antenna and look down into the hole, you'll see how theres 6 notches in the circle thinggy. You want to push the antenna slighty to the side and squeeze in your flathead screwdriver so that it crosses the circle thinggy from one notch to another so that it has enough grip to unscrew it.

Get what I'm saying? If you dont get it then let me know and I'll try to post in more detail.

Thanx Nausea, it worked perfectly!!

Now I just need to change the rest of the housing....

if anyone else here is planning on removing their antenna, be sure not to bend the straw it bends really easily

My bro just got the housing today, and i was about to change it when i realized the antenna fits, but there isn't any plastic to screw it into. Would it be ok to use crazy glue to keep it in the housing??
