Hi there
My grandson bought a Siemens A55 the other day, say's he bought it from a mate at school. Doesn't usually tell lies so I think its cosher.

It didn't have a simm card so I bought one of those 'go as you pay' cards from O2 and had an earlier number put on the phone and its working fine.

Only one problem at present and thats the pin number. My grandson says that he doesn't know the number, so is there any way I can find this number within the phone without it locking up on me.

Thanks for any help here. .

AFAIK phones have several different PINs. If it's the one when you first switch on, then it's set by the network, although it's not usually on by default, and it is set by the user. You can proove this by putting the SIM into another phone.

FYI, if you don't have the instructions, go to www.siemens-mobile.co.uk and download them.

If you call siemens and say that you are locked out of the phone (make sure they understand you mean the PIN codes and not that it's a locked phone) they should be able to tell you how to get in and reset the pins.

Siemens won't help you reseting PIN, they will help if you need phonecode to be reset.
Pin is stored on your SIM card and you need to call your cell provider to reset it.
