Hey all,
Well, none of the free WAPs like WAP Tunnel work for me (It always says "sending" and doesn't connect) and my theory is that it is just too overwhelmed with people taking advantage of it. So I did some looking around. I was just wondering if one of you mobile phone gods out there know if these WAPs are free or not:

I plugged the first one in with correct port 9201 into my cdm-8900 using the verizon service. I waited until after 9 (for my free night hours) to connect. It worked, it was full of content and was very speedy BUT I checked my online verizon bill after, and it did NOT register that I had used any night minutes... I'm afraid that i just did some browsing using data time (which is expensive on verizon's service) rather then taking advantage of the night time mintues (which are supposedly free if you find a public WAP). If anyone can help me figure out if I'm going to be charged airtime or data time for this WAP that would be great...
Also, Openwave is the same company that Verizon uses for the cdm-8900 browser... SOO I dont know if it automatically recognizes my phone as being a client of their service or not... YIPE!
Thanks, Wes
