transfered ringtones too quiet[T610]

whenever I download midi'a and transfer them to my phone through infared, u can barely hear them, u need to put the phone up to your ear to hear it, all my other ring tones on the phone play very loudly without any problems, what am I doing wrong. T610 user... help!!!
