HELP T720! PST error, I can DLd but cant UPLd

THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!

Ok I really hope someone can help me with my dilema. Here it goes, I have a Motorola T720 GSM phone and downloaded "EMS 1.2.4" and "PST 6.7". I also got the drivers working and everything. After countless hours, I got all programs to recognize my phone and working fine...I can now read data from my phone and used EMS to update the backup file. Now heres the problem....when i try uploading the changed .ems file to my T720( through PST of course) it WONT let me. While the progress/communication window is up, an "Interface Error" window pops up stating to "POWER CYCLE PHONE AND TRY OPERATION AGAIN".
I tried everything after that...shutting my phone off, even removing the SIM card for awhile, restarting the phone and program, Everything! I would imagine powercycling a phone means turning it off for a minute or so. I even tried restarting the phone through the PST program but the same "Interface Error" window keeps popping up and popping up.
So Basically, I can download data to my PC, but CANNOT upload data to my phone. It's driving me nuts and im now asking the more knowledgable people for some advice. Can anyone please help me...for the love of god!

System specs:
Win 2000
Service pack 4
EMS manager 1.2.4
PST 6.7
PST drivers (included in PST 6)
Motorla T720 GSM cingular

oh and I have the Cingular prepaid service so it wont let me browse through the web or else I would've gotten the ringtones/images that way.

sweet, i got it fixed through trial and error. just reinstalled an older version of PST and reinstalled drivers.
