LG VX3200 ringtone and USB cable question

Hey. I just got the LG VX3200 phone, and I'm pretty happy with it for the most part. Does anyone know if it's possible to create my own ringtones using the keypad? I was able to do that with my old phone the motorola v60.
Also would like to know if I got the USB cable, is it mac compatible? Couldn't find any info on the LG site. thanks.
