These are wallpaper and ringers I have either made or found online. They're already in the correct png, or mid format. Some are Mp3s already with a .mid extentsion.

how do you make the wallpapers fill up they whole screen? they resize itself on the phone

The new Zelda unveiled a couple days ago looks completely amazing. Back to the more adult theme. There's many great games on the gamecube.

As for the wallpaper, make sure you use png file that are no bigger than 128x145.

i used the wps you posted up.. it was 128x145.. they still get resized.. do you know why?

when you transfer them to your phone, are they still in png format?

yeah they should be.. i saved it to my computer.. uploaded and sent it to my phone using vzwpix .. wut am i doing wrong?

I have tried everything from creating .png files at exact pixel dimensions to overwriting pic files with bitpim, and have yet to be borderless. I have come close, but.....

so far, in trying to overwrite pic files with bitpim, I have been unsuccessful. It appears to work fine in bitpim, but when I try to select the image through the phone's menu, it says "This file is invalid. Erase this file?"

but u/l'ing stuff through vzwpix.com has worked great.... just need to be borderless.

I tried u/l'ing an 8 meg zip of some great pornographic papers, but apparently it didn't work... I now see the teeeeeeeeeny file size limit, what gives?

well, here's ONE cool ring tone for now....

I'm not gonna post these one at a time.... does anyone have server space I can use to store tones and papers so I can just post a link?

I did the mod to get rid of the banner...made my wallpaper to the correct size, saved as .png, uploaded and I get no white border..you must be doing something wrong along the way. Did you disable the VW banners?

i didn't hack my phone in anyway, i just sent the png files through outlook to my phone and they don't have any borders when used as a wallpaper. make sure you're not using vzw to send the png files.

When sending pic messages through outlook and sending it to number@vzwpix.com , is anyone getting a confirmation on their phone now? I used to send pics and ringtones this way and it would just download on the phone. Now it gives me a text message saying it's a pic message and the info about it then at the bottom it has 3 options - later, get, and reject. However, get doesn't seem to work - I choose it, it brings up the receive dialog and then instantly goes back to the home screen - no download occurs. Anyone else getting this?

Sending images through the vzwpix.com web page seems to always screw things up.
Send the pic to you phone number, xxxxxxxxxx.vzwpix.com, via your regular email, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.

Also, the invalid file error could be from trying to overwrite a .jpg with a .png or .gif, etc.
The seed file needs to be the same extension of what you want to overwrite.
Such as, overwrite a .png with a .png, a .gif with a .gif, etc.

I shyed away from sending pix thru reg email b/c I was losing the attachments, and the vzwpix.com site seemed to go w/o a hitch.

BUT.... I called vzw to have them do whatever it is they do to fix the prob w/dropped attachments, and now when I send the pix through regular email....

I HAVE BORDERLESS WALLPAPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wait - you called vzw to fix the problem with dropped attachments? I always received images fine through email, but .png files always seemed to be dropped - all other files were fine though. You called verizon about this and they fixed it?

yep, wonders never cease! I mean the 1st line of goons are clueless (usually... don't want to offend any vzw employees reading this -if you're here, you probably know your sh_t).

I thik it's kind of the luck of the draw after that, though.... some techs are like the quotes we seem to get attached to our posts at random, specifically "what's a cell phone?" and other tech really know their stuff.....

aahhhh, I remember the good old days when Motorola made great phones, and I could call their tech guys and they would share their hacks with me.....

well, I digress.... think it's time for sleep....
