hey, i have the a-vox- cmd8900... ive been reading these threads and i am sooo confused.. ive been trying to get ring tones on to my phone.. can anyone give me step by step dicertions on how to do this on my phone.. i want to send the tones to my phone.. and also pictures... i have no clue how.. pleasee help

the easiest way is to go through "get it now" (push right on the direction pad) and then highlight the cart, press ok. select "get tones" and then pick a service (I personally like modtones the best).

if you don't want to pay, keep readin..... or try vzwpix.com to email youself ringtones from your computer

I am personally having trouble getting bitpim to talk to my phone (I know I'm not supposed to use it with my 8900, but I'll take the risk). I have over 15 hours of research and trial -and so far just error into it, but the thing to do is perservere and keep readin. That's what I'm still doin so far... though don't be shocked if I post a thread asking for help soon! lol....

p.s. I have tried 2 different cables... a "charging" usb cable I bought on ebay, and the cable that comes with the mobile office kit they sell at vzw. anyone reading this know if the radio shack one I'm reading about is different/ works better?
