Vibrate Mode

I have a T616. As I am frequently in meetings, I normally keep it in silent/vibrate mode. What I'm finding is that for alarms or messages, the single short vibration often goes unnoticed. Is there any way to make the vibration more vigorous or to have it repeat the vibration?
