I feel like an idiot. I've had this phone for several months now, and I just discovered that you can turn on the flashlight by just pressing and holding the side keys while the phone is closed.

And I pride myself on knowing every feature on my phones.......

Thats pretty funny, as I just discovered it a few moths after I had mine as well. And you can also change the colour, once the light is on, and you press the up-down keys. Every press will change to another colour.

Its just a shame that you can't change the colour of the light when you use it to take photos

Sure you can. Just now with the side buttons. You have to go to camera options, and then "light colour" and there you have it. But when you are in camera mode, you have to go in the options. You cannot do it by keep pushing and pushing the side buttons. THe lower button will take a picture, and the upper one will give you the flash light, and if you press once more, it will give you a modest flash light. If you press it only once, and you are having the brightest light, when you actually shoot the picture, it will boost the light a little more for a second.

My, my, u guys sure dun explore ur phones much. When in camera mode, press # key to toggle on the flash and 5 to switch the color of the flash. Holding down the select button in the middle of the directional pad brings u directly to the camear mode in case u dun know.
