Datapilot vs. MOK?

It appears that the Verizon Mobile Office Kit only synchronizes the phone book. If that is the case, it seems like Datapilot is better software because it does the calendar wallpapers, etc.
Can I install Datapilot on a workstation and a laptop without buying two copies?
Is there a way to email images to my phone and then use them as wallpaper?
