Can anybody tell me if the the 3200 is good or not? I have a choce of that or the t616.

i am a fan of nokia. go for the 3200. i think you will have a better experience wil that phone.

I have the 3200 and its a fun little phone. You should get the 3200 , because its a Nokia and a great deal for the cheap price .

look whos talkin.........you got more posts per day, that means you post more than anyone(at least more than me) not to mention you have been here for 1 month......im going on 1/2 a year.......i have a lot of posts for 6 months......you have to much for 1 month.

I have the Nokia 3200 and after having 3 computer experts try and have my computer recognize the phone being connected via the dku-5 cable, and still unable to retrieve my pictures, I am ready to try the Motorola camera phone. Keep in mind also, I have tried two cables, and two phones, had my computer worked on to see if that was the trouble, and NOTHING!!! If anyone has the answer to this problem, please email me at mystrysslyn@yahoo.com

Also, after two hours on the phone to Nokia...you guessed it, NOTHING!!!!

help me, pleeze.................

Try Infrared, most laptop has this port and it works good for me.

the infared or bluetooth may work.....try getting new cable.

im not a mod.....but this is nokia forum.....post that q? in the moto section.....not the nokia/nokia 3200 section...

definitely the nokia if u want more features but the sony ericson if u want a better camera.

My 3200 won't open... it always display Test Mode.. it seems to work a while ago but when i changed the sim card, it suddenly froze and always display Test Mode everytime i turn it on.. what seems the problem?

can anyone help me? pls...

Have you tried putting your old SIM card in the 3200? Also ask your provider whether your new SIM is a 32k or 64k SIM. 64k SIM cards were released last year by some providers to allow their subscribers to store more SIM contacts and provider-related services.

I have the 3200
great spiffy phone, there is no Bluetooth in it, but the IR is great for transfering pics and ring tones

I got one beef with it.
How the heck do you use the LED flashlight?

the books says to press the up direction on the scroll button, but when I do that, it's a short cut to the camera function.

any ideas anyone?

I assume you've tried pressing up in the standby mode, right? This does the trick on my 5100.

i press the up key in standby mode and it goes to the camera function

unless someone changed the short cut key, (I am second owner of the phone)
but i did a system reset when i got the phone and it should cancel any short cut creations

According to Nokia.com, the 3200 definitely has a flashlight.

to turn the flashlight on, you hold down the * button (or #, i'm not sure which) in any case, the flashlight shines from the bottom of the phone.

And Tri-band, you should know better, the 64K SIM doesn't store any more contacts.

Which PC or laptop are you using? If infrared isn't an option, why not try the DKU-5/CA-42 USB cable for the 3200? That should be an alternative.
