My LG VX 4500 has an anoying problem of frequently dropped calls even though adiquate signal is available. The problem occurs whether stationary or moving equally the same. I have returned it to the Verizon store were I have been issued a new phone three times, but each phone still has the same problem.

This appears to be a software problem in either automatic link power control or in soft handoff between cells. Does anyone know if a software patch or upgrade is available that will fix this problem?
