I don't know if that's the right cable but, if you are going to pay $41.00 for that one, just order one from kyocera's website is the same price and you know you're getting the right thing.

This is what Kyocera customer serivice said about their USB Cable:

"I am being told the end of May, though that could push out. We will ship all back orders as soon as product becomes available.
Sorry for the delay..."

If you can use it the serial cable is in stock. I got mine in 48 hrs.

Alright this seems like a really newb question, i bought the serial cable from kyocera and ummmm i just found my laptop doesnt havea serial port lol... well it does but they are both female my comp and the cable, do u think if i were to get a serial to usb adapter the cord will still work?

Posted by: joshieca

Not sure about the serial to USB cable...I know that on PDA's and Police Scanners that use a serial port and users with USB have tried the serial to USB converter and they have reported trouble.

But if you have a female serial port, couldn't you use a standard serial "gender" changer...any radio shack/computer store should have them.

Oh yeah i forgot about those gender converters lol... thanks a lot ill head down to radio shack right now and begin to hack away at my phone thanks for ur help

I orderd My USB cable on May 10th and received it on May 14th. I used the FREESHIP coupon code along with a new user 20% discount. I was very pleased.
