Are there any side effects of flashing T630 firmware in a T616?
Any decrease in RF or any bugs show up?

Also, can T630 firmware work with the STN LCD, or only with the TFT LCD?

less battery life, worse RF, java doesn't work as well (I found a few bugs). But you can change languages...

The whole reason for using the T630 firmware is for T630's TFT drivers...so no, the T630 firmware won't work with the STN (otherwise the T616 firmware should work with the T630 screen too right?).

Less battery life is no big deal, I think a TFT probably consumes a little more power than an STN LCD. Worse RF though, I don't know if I can live with that. Does this also apply when using the T637 firmware? From what I understand T610->T630 and T616->T637. I have also read that T610 firmware in a T616 results in worse RF, any relation to the T616 having worse RF using T630 firmware?

Well, sometimes a newer firmware can support legacy hardware in addition to the newer hardware, but I see what you mean.
