Do the default settings work for MMS on a panasonic x70 on Orange?

Does anyone else here use that setup?

Would it be possible for them to let me know what their settings are?

When I try and send an MMS it says 'connection failed' ?

Outgoing email and sms work fine.

mms settings:

Server list->Orange MMS

server URL: http://mms.orange.co.uk
gateway ip: 192.168.224.010

bearer type: GPRS

I think you have to ask orange to activate MMS (GPRS) on your account.

Is there a tiny little asterisk at the to of the first bar on the signal indicator??

Thank for that. I've checked and the settings look ok. Also, (and which I forget to say), I can browse using GPRS, and I have the asterix cross thing on the signal indicator. I seem to remember getting that activated.

Hmm.. I'm a bit stumped, because I seem to be able to do everything except for just sending an MMS.

Do I need to get Orange to activated 'MMS' as opposed to just getting GPRS activated?

(I checked the manual and it doesn't appear so, apparently MMS is included when GPRS is activated, as are a whole host of other things).

Thanks for ya help on this, I know I'm either doing something stupid, or the phone is broke.

you do need to ask orange to activate mms on to your account to be able to send mms messages.
