BitPim Silder Doesnt Always Sync

I am using the BitPim program, the 0.62v with a serial connection.

Sometimes the program connects and displays my slider files without trouble....But sometimes it wont connect all. I will have to shutdown the slider and restart the program several times before it will connect again.

Can anyone explain whats wrong or is this just the nature of this program?

FYI: The error message I get is....

LG-VX4000 on COM1: The phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to brew.

BitPim wasn't specificially designed for the Slider, it was designed for the LG-VX4000, so I'm assuming that plays a part in why it doesn't always detect the phone. I just keep restarting BitPim until it sees the phone. Usually only have to do this once or twice

Thanks...I have found that if you have trouble with BitPim syncing, and you exit out of it and load Gagin, and then exit out of that and then go back to BitPim it usually works.
