I would like to share my experience of using my s40 to access internet in my palm through irda. The connection is work with nokia phone but in s40 it should need to set initial string of modem setting in palm. I used the setting provided in Siemens website but cannot work. I use these setting from a website in internet:

Modem: AT+CBST=0,0,1;+CHSN=6,0,0,0
ISDN v.110: AT+CBST=81,0,1;+CHSN=6,0,0,0
ISDN v.120: AT+CBST=51,0,1;+CHSN=6,0,0,0

I have searched about this connection problem and also found others have similar problem with connection in palm or ppc. Until i found these string setting and the problem was solved.

Any one have the problem of using s40 as modem to access internet may try to use the setting or found a proper setting in the ISP provider.
