Anyone know how to get into the programing mode for this phone. Trying program this phone for verizon and *228 doesn't work. thanks

I just put my z800 into retirement, cannot find a battery. On line they can be found, but was told that they can be a year old. They do have a shelf life of 18 months.
How do you get batteries?

But to move on. I tried the 228 thing and it did not work. I was told by tech, that this is a know issue. There is so much programming in the phone, and there is not enough memory to perfom the 228.

Turn on the phone. Once it's turned on, you have 15 seconds to enter this:

M (menu Key), #, Envelope Key, *, 1

then press 000000 for security code.

there ya go
