Help Please!! Inno 90 SMS Freeze

Hi,
I can't open my inbox for my sms "text" messages. It freezes when I try and I have to restart by removing/inserting the battery. Is it because my inbox is full?? If it is, I can't delete any without going into my inbox. It is so frustrating not being to read/open text messages.
Please help me out,
