VX 6000 T9 Problem

I have the LG VX 6000 and I cant seem to enter words into the word database. I follow the directions exactly as the phone's manual says but they wont stay entered when I go to enter the number. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Anyone else with the VX6000 notice the same thing happening? I follow the directions in the manual word for word and nothing! The words never stay in the database.

Well does anyone else that has the VX6000 that can try to add a word to see if it's just my phone or if it's the software itself.. if it's just my phone maybe it needs to get reflashed or something.

try making a note in the phones notepad and putting the word you want to save in it and then save the note. then try the t9 type of writing and see if that fixes it. i remember seeing that as a solution the prob, im surprized no one helps anyone out in these forums.

that worked !! thanks a ton man.. ya it sucks nobody responded but oh well. thanks a bunch, the problem was i was following the manual's directions in a text message and it wasnt taking hold like it said.
