GX32/22 datacable work on a NEC515?

Went to Pacificmall today and went to a shop looking for a data cable, the person looked at my phone and I pretty sure she pulled out a Sharp GX-xx series datacable and told me it'll fit. To prove it, she took the cable out and jammed it into my phone which luckily nothing is wrong but when connecting the cable to the phone, it seemed right but it doesn't seem to fit smoothly.
Reason why I am asking is cuz its just about half-price compared to another play I looked at.

I have both phones (plus cables) and no, the NEC cable doesn't work with the GX. I would have been pissed at that lady for trying to jam an incompatible data cable in my phone just for a sale. She might have actually damaged the USB port.
You should order one directly from NEC America. They cost around 20 USD.
