Need someone to check if on Verizon

For those who are using a Slider SE47 on the Verizon network, can you please check something out for me?

I just got my slider about 5 days ago and I have been having some trouble sending text messages from the handset. Verizon and I have been working on it and last night they performed an update which seems to have cleared up all but one issue. That issue is a time difference on the status of the out going messages. If someone (more then one would be great) could check to see if they have this same time difference it would be greatly appreciated.

How to check:

1) Go to your messaging area
2) Scroll down to your OUTBOX and select it
3) Choose any message and select it (press OK)
4) Scroll down so that you can see the Sent time and Delivered time

Now on mine for example it would show:

Sent:
6:37PM 05/20

Delivered:
6:36PM 5/20

I think you can see the discrepancy here. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for you help!

The “Message Sent” time, is the time you pressed the “SEND” key for the message. The “Message Delivered” time, is the time that the message reached its destination. It’s like a delivery receipt confirming that a message was successful.

I text-messaged my girl when she was next to me and the “Message Delivered” sound chimed at the same time that her “Message Received” tune went on. That’s one of this phone’s abilities. Other phones would not do this. You would think that your message was successfully delivered when it was actually in limbo.

Good Day.

...
Then how is it being delivered before he presses the button?

Well I went to Verizon to switch out the for a new phone and the new phone still does it....and no one seems to be able to figure it out.

So I guess I will have to live with it...as long as it doesnt effect my text messages then I wont worry...but if my text message issue comes back, then we have a problem.

Not sure where the problem is....on Kyocera's half or Verizons....seems like Verizon doesn't know where to go from here either.
