Hi,

I am still struggling to get S40 to sync via the IR to a laptop running XP. I have installed iRComm and tried every method I can think of.

Can someone who has this running on XP post a step by step on how they did it. I would REALLY appreciate it.

btw: Is it possible that the computer recognizes the phone as a modem and therefore locking the IR port for the modem. I tried to disable the modem but that didn't work.

is the official response i got from Siemens. It solved my synchronization issues.
