i'm doing my best not to touch my credit card, especially for quicktime. i need it apperently because with p900 movie maker, it won't let me do anything unless i have version 6.0 or higher. i've tried downloading what seems to be "6.0 or higher" but it keeps coming up as"are you sure u have quicktime version 6.0 or higher? please download the latest version." ???? wtf! i don't know what to do...aside from having to buy the app as it is, i really don't wanna buy quicktime....any suggestions?

I simply gave you a direct link on Apple's website. If you weren't trying to aquire QuickTime Pro for free, then you don't anything to whine about.

all i really wanted to know is, if there was a way to to get quick time "pro" without having to pay for it, so yes for free.people could get all these ×××× programs for free nowadays, why not this one? my point was "if your trying to get quicktime pro for free...your a moron" of course i'm trying to get quicktime pro for free, like i said. You're an idiot. Probably gonna get banned soon too actually. And since you can't get the free 6.5 to work, I am guessing you won't get the Pro to work either.

, i got the free 6.5 to work, but i needed pro for it to work with the p900 movie maker. at the same time, this "idiot" (me) actually got quicktime pro to work for free, thanks to my wonderfull friend who helped me out...so thanks for your concern...and for your *cough* responses *ahem* hope to hear from you soon!, and as far as being banned, that would be horrible. then i can't keep in touch with my best howardforums friends...YOU GUYS!

man, i leave up one harmless post and people start to hate...whatever...

Nowson, Your behavior is a little bit like those guys who download pirate progs for watching payTV for free. When the codes are changed, they automatically assume that the hackers OWE them the new codes. That is quite funny actually and so is your request on a public forum. I guess now you know...

If you'd spend half as much time looking around on the net as you did moaning and griping in here, you could get Quicktime Pro, or pretty much any other program ever created for free.

Cripes, it would take me about 5 seconds to find it on any major search engine. Surely you can't be THAT dense.

But it was included with my video editing software, so I don't need it anyway :P
