Does anyone have additional info?

There are about a thousand and one rumors to this effect. Nothing concrete.

Head over to Treo Central. You'll see tons of threads on it.

There will be a new Treo scheduled for around Q3 or Q4 2004. The information I have is about as concrete as it gets.

that is what I heard from my coworker who is looking to upgrade his older treo. His 'sources' also say latter half of year.

Any idea what the improvements will be?

I hope the rumor isnt true, but there's nothing to stop palmOne from updating the Treo like with stuff like a 65K screen, BT, updating PIM conduits like the ones in T3, making the Treo more "Palm-like" as opposed to "Handspring-like", making the thumbboard area snap out like the Tungsten series and adding the landscape mode...and to top it off everything on the new Palm OS 6 a.k.a. Cobalt. Expect changes...they're allocating 33% of their resources to the Treo line.

interesting...

As far as form factor goes, the new Treo will be virtually identical to the Treo 600. It won't have a longer screen with landscape more or a snap-off keyboard. The improvements are quite substantial, but nothing that extreme physcially.

how about someone direct Palm to this thread where I listed some pros/cons after only less than 24 hrs using it - compared against my current vm4500, of course.
