Looking for a new phone..help needed.

Ok, im trying to get a new phone by the end of the summer, and am wondering what I should get. I want something very nice and exotic. It doesnt have to be out right now, it can be something being released within the next few months. It has to also work in the U.S. with T-mobile. Any suggestions? Thanks.

quite a lot to choose from..

i've just picked up a sharp gx30 (you'd probably need a gx-32 though) and its amazingly good..

nokia 7610 is also coming out (i have my eye on one of them..

)

new SE phones as well due in the next couple of months...

motorola v80 ,,

ooh sooo many!

and i forgot.. the sendo X may be out soon...

ah knowing nokia's habit of destroying market, i wont go for nokia....
when the 7610 is released, after 3mths or when the whole market buys it, they launch a 7610i or some new model which totally destroys the value of the 7610 u had in the 1st place.

look at the 6600-----6620
7250------7250i

all launched within a short space of time from each other....

and i tested a test set for the 7610. laggy as hell...
lots of bugs

im sure like everyone else, were are dead sick of waiting..i know i am. im so sick of wiating for phones...bugga the gx40..if i were in your position id go as far as waiting for v80..

whens the v80 supposed to come out? and do you the the gx40 will resolve all the limitations of the others in the gx series?

Some of these upgrades (i.e. 7250i) could have been done by a simple firmware upgrade, but Nokia insisted on releasing an all new model.

I loved Nokia back when they were monocrome (before their color Series 40 handsets). They were definitely the kings of mobile phones back then. Now they just seem to be playing catchup. Thank God that Samsung came along to innovate the stagnate GSM phone market, which paved the way for the awesome clamshells we have today. The competition has finally seemed to light a fire underneath Nokias butt, as we're finally seeing some quality handsets from them (namely their Series 60 line and the 6230). I still won't go back to them until they start making GSM clamshells. And no............that ugly 7200 doesn't count.

I got addicted to nokia since the 8210.. then the symbians.
but at the rate they keep farking up us the consummers... aint no way im returning.

BTw, Re: gx40....... there issint a single pic or info about it.
take a look at the gx30/32.... so many pre released pictures....
no antenna.... half coloured in red...

cant get the 2nd pic to work..... but u run a image search on yahoo on gx30 u'd see the pic.

in the end the gx30 turned out diffrent. dont expect much for the gx40 that has totally no info?
or can someone point me to some info??
