So I am using a USB Cable on my LG VX 4400 and trying to put ringtones onto it with BitPim. I did that at one time, putting like 10 or so ringers on, then all of the sudden it does not let me put ringers on at all, but it does let me add wallpapers. I get this pop up that says: "The phone is not responding while manipulating the file system." What can I do to make it work again?

I really dont know that much about BitPim, but perhaps there is a maximum number of ringtones you can store on the phone? I'd say try deleting one that you dont use or can live without and then try putting another one in and see if that works. Since you can add wallpapers it is clearly not an issue with the phone responding.

Also did you try different ringtones and restarting your phone?
