changing firmware on 6108

just bought a 6108... unfortunately it only supports simplified chinese. Is there any cost saving method to change the firmware to have traditional chinese? the guy that sold me the phone says it is hard to find the cable to change the f/w, is it true?

i think your cable could be on any cell phone shop accessories store online and try ebay they got a lot of ××××.
