Free WAP not working anymore...

I got it working once and never got it working again. Is anyone else on Verizon having this problem? It all started on May 25.

I tried a bunch of different gateways and the only one that seems to work is the openwave developers gateway (12.25.203.11:9201) The one I got working the first time I tried was (69.244.186.6:9201) and is hosted by a guy who keeps the server running in his office somewhere. He posts threads here but I can't remember his name and I'm too lazy right now to go back through and look it up. I liked that one because it was very fast.

Anyway, does anyone know of any good reliable gateways that I can try as an alternative? Thanks!

I got a UK one to work but it won't let me change my homepage.

Does anyone out there know what software I'd need to turn my computer into a WAP server? I am behind a firewall if that matters.

last June I started getting a message"cannot connect to server" on 3am,erricson,wap tunnel,you name it.I think verizon zapped my area of free web

my internet was down for a few days when a big storm went through michigan...I live in on a dead end street so naturally I was last to have service restored...mine should have only been down mon/tues tho. Working fine for me atm.

It's working again. I don't know. I can't explain it. I guess the reason is that I have been trying bum gateways. Someone was nice enough to gimme a good one and I've been good to go ever since. And who ever that person was who PM'd me, THANKS!

I've also tried several gateways without much success. If someone has a good one for Verizon, I'd sure appreciate it.

If you still feel like you need the free WAP, then send me a message from my Web site.

If the whole world starts using it, 1) it will become very slow and useless to all of us, and 2) I will take a bandwidth hit and will have to shut it down. So please, don't post it to every cell phone forum you know.

I do, however, want to help out, so come and READ (hint, hint) my site.
