hello this is my first post here.. excuse me if i posted in the wrong forum..

i was wondering.. you know the main screen where it shows the time ATT Wireless... and blah blah..

does anyone know how to remove the "AT&T Wireless" words from the screen? im not sure if this can be done on this GSM phone =T

yes you can remove it by downloading a blank operator logo onto your phone. try www.jhonny.org that should be the site and look for the blank operator logo on the site then go to www.jhonny.org/wap on your phone n type in the number for the blank op. logo (i think its 0 i dunno) then load it onto your phone.

ah the id is 1 and it works! thanks!... also do u know how i can tell if my phone is roaming or not? anything to indicate that?

the way u can tell is when the at&t logo goes away (sometimes it changes to sumthin else i dunno) but since you put in a blank 1 u wont be able to tell.
