Not sure if this is old hat or not, but it was new for me.

I was on a call, put the person on hold, and was able to dial a new call and flip between the two. I could also conference the three of us together. I don't think I could do this with any other phone I've owned - is it a Treo feature or an AT&T feature, or both?

it should be more like the ATT feature. it is called "conference call".

I bearly use conference call feature.

for example, if i am going to conference with 2 other ppl who are in the same TMO network with me, my calls (to both lines) are free because i have the buddy time feature.

if you do not have any "mobile to mobile" free, or no night free or other free min feature, youi will be charging more than 1 call if you are the person who starts the conferencing.
