T616 keeps dropping HBH-65

I have paired my T616 with my HBH-65 BT headset, and while the headset works, it doesn't stay connected (it keeps getting dropped). Any suggestions?

Is the signal dropping while the phone is on or near you? I have HBH65 and no problem at all. Maybe a defective unit? See if you can get another HBH65 and have same problem.

I'm having the same exact problem... any ideas? I know u can flash a headset, but how? I am experienced in flashing the phones...

if you look in the manual that the headset comes with its on page 12 of the english section. its only 2 steps:

1. with the headset turned off, press and hold the call handling button for 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes green and red on the headset. then release the button.
2. press and hold the call handling button again until you hear one low beep, followed a moment later by another 2 beeps. the headset has now been turned off and reset.

check your firmware version. I used to have this problem with my R1A firmware. After I got my T616 flashed with R1B firmware, it's way better. It still drops from time to time, but it's a lot better for sure.

Also, it does better with my Z600 than my T616 for sure.
