Email settings on 6600

Hi guys.New to the forum so appologies for any stupid posts.
Now a proud owner of a 6600.Used a T610 for the last year which I must admit is a great phone too.
Anyway,I have set it up to successfully send and receive email but when I send one,the recipient sees my name as my username then email address e.g bobs<bobs@bs20.freeserve.co.uk instead of Bob Smith(not my name or email by the way).
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to change in the settings.Any help appreciated.
