Replacing downloaded picture with BitPim

I'm trying to replace a downloaded picture that I sent to myself from pix place using BitPim. Once I go under the MMS--OM file system, I overwrite the downloaded picture with one from my computer. When I try to view it/select it on my phone menu, I get an error saying that it's an invalid file...Any suggestions? You're supposed to be able to overwite it and then repeat as necessary to avoid the pix place fee...

Meant to say that I have an Audiovox CDM8900, using BitPim 0.7-test 7...

Make sure the file you overwrite is the same as the replacement file. I mean, overwrite a png with a png or a gif with a gif.
Also, make sure the original seed file (the one you actually spend .25¢ to email yourself) is a good, non corrupted file. You should also make it very small, like 1k or less.
I had problems just like you are describing, and it was very frustrating. I had to send a few different seed files until one of them "just worked." Once you get one that works make sure to save & lock it.
I think I also tried email them to myself with outlook or from hotmail after trying unsuccessfully to use vzwpix directly.
I don't know why but it just seems like it sometimes takes a couple tries to get it right, but it pays off... Now I have a seed for each graphic (pix & animations) and for ringtones.
