the kyocera kurv/curitel identity does that

Posted by: protik

i thought kyocera kurv never got launched for that matter and curitel's identity does have the feature but hey how is a phone supposed to be functionally good enough with its display put up in the keypad area....

yeah the kurv was cancelled but it looks identical to the identity. One question though, how often would you actually use it and do you think you would actually look cool doing it?

how often do u use ur camera on ur phone and what bout bluetooth r IR....its not how often but how much and how badly u need such a utility...... if u wanna know whether it would look cool when we do it.....then its not bout the coolness factor but its just for the moments when u wanna convey a message but cant do it verbally....so its in such situations when u wanna convey a message u can do it using this feature.....i have been in so many sitations when i couldnt convey a message verbally so i used my palm top and put it in big fonts and highlighted it so that my message gets across....so its at such times when u need such a utility.....and i dont think i would be lookin uncool doin it

I actually use the camera on my phone several times a day and the whole wavy message thing makes little since to me because it can only display so much and it probably needs to be in a dimly lit area

on the 3220 does the light things on the sides come off or are they stuk there kuz i think it would look better wit it off. overall i think its a nice basic phone that, if the price is cheap, i would get to replace my 3595, well only if the side light things come off n it had radio.

also do yall think itll take good pix? i hope so

The air texting feature comes with an additional enhancement called the Express On cover. So with that goes the lights, exactly the way u want it.And the cameras not a 1Mpixel but its a 640 * 480 resolution camera. If u wanna know more about the features then go to the link below...

Its doesnt have bluetooth , infra-red , or a radio ! But 4.5mb memory is good .

thats what Nokia's all bout.....they wont have any single phone with all the features and if they do then it would either cost a bomb or it would look plain ugly.....but still they are the world leaders in the mobile phone market thanks to ppl like us who keep buying their phones.....even though we cant stop complaining.

the lights on the side are different than the air text lights because those are on the back. And who said it was a megapixel camera?

i think this phone is aimed at kids/teens and/or ppl that juss want a basic phone with a camera so they wouldnt really need bluetooth, infrared, or a radio (but a radio would've been nice )

Posted by: BMWFilms

well it's a good starter phone and especially for a little kid...inexpensive for them so

Posted by: protik

I dont think the phone turns out to be inexpensive as anybody who buys the phone would buy it for the air texting feature and if at all the phone is inexpensive then the Xpress On cover would cost a bomb....So definitely not for kids to afford it out of their pocket money....parents are u listening???

"This youth-oriented phone includes light-up sides, VGA camera with video recording, EDGE high-speed data, and speakerphone. An optional Fun Shell accessory adds wave/light messaging and tilt sensor for games." from phonescoop.com, it is definately aimed at kids but the question is whether the price point will be aimed at kids also or the kids parents
