when i want to start up the SPEAKERPHONE, i have to his the left button THEN press OK. Cant i just set it up so that i can just press SPEAKERPHONE without having to confirm all the time?
Same problem is with the left soft key shortcut.

You can get the left soft key shortcut without confirming by pressing the key a bit longer. That trick doesn't work with handsfree, though...

prolly done purposely that you have to press the 2 buttons, so you dont accidently rub the phone against your cheek and press the hands free button and have the speaker turned on while you have it up against your ear.

yeah seems that way. its not too much of an annoyance but ill live to deal with it.
