I recently bought the 3586i along with a usb to serial cable. I uploaded a 12kb mid file with Phone Manager (demo). The ring tone was split in 2. I navigated to my ring tones and found two of the same name. When I highlight one, I hear one part (maybe the bass) and then I highlight the other to hear(maybe treble). Could this be a stereo midi?

The real issue is that I cannot seem to rid my phone these files. After deleteing them in PM and uploading. I still found them navigating through profiles. I then opened PM and sure enough they were still under Profiles, but I can't delete them. I tried resetting the factory defaults, but that did not help....HELP!!

Edit: I need to know how to delete files that are either locked or unaccessable through 3rd party software. Again, this is for the Nolia 3586i. Any help is help.

Have you tried the MobiMB 2 demo from the logomanager.co.uk downloads page. It lets you delete in the demo version. If it still doesn't work, contact their support team. I get answers from them within the hour usually, and usually good ones!
