MP3 Ringtones converted to MIDI??

When sending an mp3 ringtone it is to my understanding you have to change the name to midi or mid... what program do you enter into to do so? When I tried it said SONGNAME.MID.MP3 and the only file types i could save it as was mp3 and wav. So if anyone knows let me know thanx..!

You dont need any program. You just need to turn on file extensions on your computer. I'm not exactly sure how to, because i have a mac, but if you search turn on file extensions on google, maybe you'll get something.

either your song's too big, or the quality is too high. Read through this thread again, you'll see.
