Can anyone help? Is there any way to turn off(permanently)the power on and power off melodies for the Audiovox 8410 cell phone? It is rather distracting...thanks,

check settings, sounds, alerts, last one should be on/off alert..

Thanks for the response, however, when I go to settings, I do not have the on/off alert...any other ideas?
