Missing phone calls b/c of the MP3 ringtone

I had this problem till I got the idea to go to 3gupload and get a regular ringtone and cut it and put it at the front of the MP3 ringtone, so the first thing you hear is a phone ringing and then u may or may not hear your MP3 but you got that tone before hand to let you know your phone is working. It works get in big crowds.
