Audiovox 9500, have subsidy code, what now?

I have the SPC code for my Cellular One audiovox 9500. I tried the 289 F#1 thing and it says programming lock is locked. I was told I need the unlock code. When I do the F 0 0 thing it asks for the GSC and the code I was told by my carrier was 000000 so I dont think that is where I enter the SPC code, so does anybody know where to enter the SPC code?
