Hi.

I'm a Verizon / Audiovox n00b...

Just received the CDM8600 for one of my users and I'm having two dificulties: Ease of address book access and ease of voicemail dialing.

This is an older user who wants everything SIMPLE. I've programmed his address book, but don't see an easy way to just scroll through the entries. I'm also not finding an easy way to program the voicemail access number along with the PIN he selected.

Ultimately I'm looking for as few keypresses as possible. Otherwise, I'll be on the phone with him for the next week explaining features. :-)

Thanks!

I had the same difficulty for scrolling through the phone book but on my phone I just press the button on the top right. On the screen it says find above it. Then from there you should be able to scroll through the phone book.

As for voicemail i do not know how.

for your voicemail problem just program a new entry "voicemail" and when punching in the number put *86 then a hard pause then your passcode and pound, ie: *86P1111#. with its entry being voice mail just go to find scroll back one and it should be one of the last entries unless you know someone with a name after v.

sorry 4 hijacking, but is there a way on the 8600 to program number 1 to dial out to the voicemail (i.e. pressing 1 and send will call the voicemail entry?)

yeah its real simple...go to menu>phonebook>speeddial and then take it from your phonebook entry
