Not sure if I am blind or can't read... but there seems to be no info as to the best size to use when sending pics for wallpaper.

vzwpix makes the pic look like a poloroid.

after viewing pics placed on the phone using bitpim,I get lots of white space.

I have tried ... 160x120 / 120x160 / 120x120 / 120x130

What do you guys use? Is there a thread that I missed? Just wondering.

I don't know if this helps, but when you take a picture with the 8900 the size is 640 x 480, so it might work to send that size to your phone as well.

You can change ther rez. of the camera down to 160x120 .

When you use that size from the camera gallery you get a bigger wallpaper with maybe 5 pixels top and bottom of white space. Download that pic to you computer / do the bitpim trick/ and change the wallpaper to the same pic that you transfered to the media gallery and you get a wallpaper that has 10 pixels top and bottom of white space. Change the format to compansate and you get white space top/bottom/left/right.

I talked to me brother (he has a LG) and asked him how he gets full screen wallpapers. He said that he sends 120x160 pics to his phone for wallpapers.

How about you just make the picture a .PNG, with 160Hx128W resolution??

That will work w/ no white borders.

i use 128x145 and it works well. I think that is the right size it is suppose to be.
