I finally figured out how to get wallpaper on my 4600. What is the best resolution to use for wallpaper? I know the screen is 120x160, but if I load a picture at that resolution, I get white boarders on each side of the picture. Anyone have experience with the vx4600.

I'm having the same problem that you are. If you're also using BitPim, then it means it's probably sending wallpaper to the phone as 120x131 instead of 120x160 because the settings on BitPim were originally geared towards the vx4400. I've been trying to find a solution to this.

I just figured out why it sends the pics at 120x131. Even though the resolution is 120x160, the screen has a blue bar at the top and bottom of the screen. So the actual space the wallpaper fills is 120x131. Here's a new question. What if the pic you upload to your phone is for the startup or shutdown pics? Those pics use the entire screen. BitPim should ask you what size you want to upload the pic to the phone depending on what you want to use it for.

I find that using 120x150 for picture resolution works *very* well for wallpapers on the LG4600 - it doesn't leave any noticeable borders.
I'm using BitPim 0.7.14 if that makes a difference.
