just received a 9500 bought on ebay. The programming is not unlocked but seller provided "sub lock code" in this format 99999/999999. How do I use this code?

Power off phone, power back on, within 10 seconds enter the subsidy code, function, #, 7 and it will unlock. Chances are the code is not 999999

the code Iwas given is 869975/846959
I followed your instructions with 869975 and seems to work got unlocked message.. now if I do 289F#1, I still get a message programming is locked. Next steps?

you have to be fast. Turn the phone off, wait about 5 seconds and turn it back on. the subsidy code should be 6 digits so try one of the two codes given to you. when the phone turns on and is done with the startup enter the 6 digit code. then press the function key which is the one that surrounds the chrome one in the middle. You will see and F on the right side of it. Press it on the right side then press the # sign and then press the number 7

when I 869975 F # 7,
I get the message Programming Lock is unlocked. Do I need to do more?

Ive also tried the 846959 F # 7 with no result.

When I was on with Verizon tech support earlier today, they had me do the 289 F#1 and I got the error message "programming lock is locked! After step 1 above, I still get the same message after the 289F#1, ie programming lock is locked.
